Life beyond the lens
This work fuels me; documenting humans that choose this space brings me a sincere sense of joy that’s acrually quite difficult to explain. But watching someone unravel infront of you, when they feel so fully present in their bones and experience the confidence that is borne from taking your power back- it’s intoxicating.
So when I’m not behind the camera, you’ll likely catch me running to my next flight; with a fierce love for travel and experiencing something new, adventures have led me across continents, into jungles, to the top of mountain peaks, and submerged blissfully into crystal clear blue waters.
The chapters of my life are littered with love, and the deep grief that shows us truly how much we have loved. tales of becoming this version of myself who would have blown 4th grade Hannahs mind by stepping confidently onto stage as a speaker. Three wiggly, perfect little puppies who nestle up next to me each evening, and a partner that supports each and every wild idea I come up with with equally wild belief that I can do it.
I’ve always felt drawn to serving and uplifting others. My background as a surgical acute care nurse taught me to see people beyond their surface; to recognize their stories, resilience, and the deep connection between body and self. I witnessed firsthand how our relationships with our bodies are shaped by experience, transformation, and healing. That same empathy is at the heart of Hannah Mac Studios; a studio dedicated to the openness of change within ourselves. Where we come from shapes us, and I bring that perspective into every session, ensuring you feel seen and valued, with the empathy you deserve.
